Also, this is more about vocabulary than kanji, but I just wanted to share some ways to remember the characters for one of the example words: 明日. There are two different ways to remember the kanji for ‘tomorrow’:
- Since it is a combination of ‘bright’ and ‘day,’ you can think about how tomorrow is a ‘bright day’ since anything can happen! (If you’re into optimism and all that)
- Personally, I always thought about how (if you think about 日 as ‘sun’ instead of ‘day’) the characters kind of show a progression of time. A sun and a moon followed by another sun. Hence, tomorrow.
